Establishment of the School of Business Competences Ltd.

January 26, 2006

Completed accreditation by the National Agency for Professional Qualification and Trainings- NAVET. SBC becomes an accredited Professional Education Centre. The license permits conducting vocational education programs and key competences education programs followed by certification examinations and the right to issue professional Diplomas for the following professions:

  • Industry
  • Trade
  • Economics and Management
  • Business Administration
  • Economical Informatics
  • Small and Medium Business
  • Business Services
  • Administrative Services
  • Marketing Research

Our diplomas and certificates for acquired competences are recognised by all countries having signed a mutual recognition contract of Diplomas and Professional Qualifications with Bulgaria, including the European Union with the Euro pass supplement.

June 1, 2006

SBC is accredited by EBC*L International and becomes the first Bulgarian education and examination centre for The European Business Competences Licence certificate. EBC*L is a result of the cooperation of universities and big corporations from Germany and Austria and aims to fill the gap between the university education and the needed competences in the business.

The EBC*L programs are 100% focused on practice.

EBC*L is recommended as a best practice for qualification of entrepreneurs by Mr. Simone Baldassarri, Commissioner, European Commission – Directorate General for Enterprise and Industry.

The e-learning platform of SBC goes live.

2006 – now

Developing the Portfolio of Study programs in 3 directions:

Professional qualifications – within the license from NAVET;

Certification programs – EBC*L, ITIL®, PRINCE2®, AMSIS and many others

Open courses – collection of innovative business methodologies.

Positioning SBC as a supplier of competences for individuals and companies.

2009 – now

Active participation in the programs ‘I can’, ‘Bulgarian entrepreneurs’ and ‘I can more’ of the Labour Agency and the European Social Fund.

2012

Start of the partnership with the Open Management Education Center – Poland. SBC and OMEC start organising trainings in the best internationally recognised practices for IT management and Project managementPRINCE2®, ITIL® and etc. in Bulgaria.

Start of the partnership with Syntea – Poland and accreditation of SBC as an educational and exam center for the VCC – Vocational Competence Certificate. Start of the VCC trainings and certifications.

2013

Unique in- house developed certification program for information systems architects AMSIS goes live.

Start of the partnership with OPAL Group – Turkey to organise trainings on SBC programs in Turkey.

2015 – 2017

OMLP – Open mobile learning platform developed as a product of Erasmus+ partnership project with business courses apps for SMEs.
